Women for Ethical AI is a women-led initiative aimed at empowering women and other underrepresented communities to have a seat at the AI table. Our mission is to ensure that diverse perspectives are represented in AI development, which will then promote ethical practices that prioritize inclusivity and fairness.
AI is being used in more and more parts of life, from job applications to healthcare to education. But most of it is being built by the same small group of people, and that means it can miss the needs, values, and realities of everyone else. That’s why we need more voices involved, especially from women and underrepresented communities.
